Hummm...
Let me start this by saying that I really like the concept and attitude of Rat Rods and have even entertained the idea of building one myself. Eventhough I believe this to be a modern Hot Rodding style that is more than a little removed from the whole traditional rod thing. I have seen some awesome examples of creativity from some of our Rat Rod brothern, but attitude aside, poor workmanship is poor workmanship and should not be praised nor sold to make a quick buck.
Pictures of this car were just posted over on the H.A.M.B. and there have been several responses on how cool this "Rat Rod" is... Guy says he has about $3000 invested and just won his firs show winning over the "High Dollar" Street Rods at the show. He says it is "For Sale" but he does not know how much he is asking an is taking offers... I think he should get consider asking around $100,000 for the car because that is about how much it is going to cost in attourneys fees later on!
The engineering on this thing is... well... I hope that whoever does end up buying this thing knows something about cars, because this thing is going to need lots of work to be ever road (fairgrounds) worthy.
I am not intending to slam the guy or his car, but trying to understand those who encourage these kinds of shoddy builds... Also wondering how many guys out there are building these quickly cobbled together Rat Rods to make a few bucks, more that likely selling them to younger or uninformed folks who are trying to make their entry into the Hot Rod scene.
I would not even consider going for a ride in this thing, is it just me or does this front end set up look scary?...

Hey Ryan, have a quick question for you. Is the dual quad intake on your 40 a factory Chrysler piece or a Weiand? Looking at pictures of the Weiand 7263 it appears to be an almost exact copy of...
