I kicked around this idea myself, but instead of moving the rearend forward, I thought about moving the cab and motor backward, and mount a grill shell behind the front crossmember. For an even more stretched out look, how about using a long wheelbase frame or an extended cab frame. Wiring would be a snap as only the headlight harness would need extended.
