Here is another black-on-black picture of the top of the Gennie Parking brake. During installation of the cables I broke one of the ferrules in the rear brake backing plate and a call to Gennie produced a free replacement by air freight the next day! I also learned how to install shoes on the drum brakes since I did it at least three times on each wheel before I got the cables lined up correctly, but now I am ready to open up a brake shop! This was before I added the second crossmember and shows an unsatisfactory eye-loop holding one brake cable. When the second crossmember was added rubber-lined metal clips were added to hold the brake cables. Additional support for the cables will be added under the body later. The brake light switch on the brake line is visible in this picture. You can also see the blue check valve in the brakeline to the front disc brakes in the upper left part of the picture.

This picture is a perfect example of great workmanship and pride. That curved bracket for example........no one will ever see it, but you know it's there and took the time to make it special.

      Very nice job.
