It's a 1963 Ford Thunderbird, with a standard bore 1963 427 C3AE-A-B with C5AE-F (side oiler heads with 2.19 / 1.66 valves). I have a receipt for the engine from Acme Auto Wreckers in Los Angeles dated 1970 and the sale price was $275. The heads were upgraded in the mid 70's from Ford Performance Parts, The fully rebuilt heads polished and ported were $700.

The car was comissioned by Southern California furniture store owner Eddie Leon and was his passion / obsession for many years before he died in the late 1990's

The car has fewer than 100k on the odometer and fewer than 4k in the past 25 years.
