      Lookin' good. I've always like the 50 bullets also. Last one I did was a 48 Starlight Cpe. with a 50 front clip. I didn't do any top choppin' on that one. The rear glass comes around way to far on the Starlight to get into that hassle.

      Thank you for your comment on my project. The roof chop took a few weeks of pondering and making sure that what I was about to do will turn out ok. Nowhere could I find where someone had done it before. As far as I was concerned this was a first.
      Chopping the roof of the curved rear tempered glass Studebaker sedan was a real dilema, as the glass could not be cut to fit a smaller opening. Check out the proceedure on my project site. First, the rear window frame of the sedan has to be removed from the roof. Second, the roof can now be removed. Third, the roof pillars can be cut and the roof can be put back on, (note roof has moved forward 3 inches). Fourth, the side window frames of the sedan can now be removed and the C Pillar trimmed, the side window frames moved back 3". Fifth, excess sheet metal at the top of rear window can be trimmed for repositioning the rear window frame back in it's hole. Sixth, fill in rear deck opening between trunk lid and rear window as a result of roof moving forward. And that's all there is to it. Sounds simply and it was, but very nerve racking.
