Hey unk, if you,re not trying for a 100% correct restoration you can use any chrome strip that's wide enough. I used the quarter panel stainless strip from a 70's Buick (can't remember the exact year) on a 39. I cut it to legnth and put the cut end at the bottom. It covered the crank hole but I wasn't using a crank on it anyway.
