On my car they were clipped, there are 3 little shaft's that run through the metal into the trunk and small end plates slip over the shafts to attach it. Mine's in good condition and I'm keeping it on the car for nostalgia, it says " By Westall Altamont ( Underneath Westall ) ".Originally posted by Swifster
Dealers also made nameplates that bolted to the car just like a nameplate.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
