i got 1 from micheal moore chevy in cali
Why dont you go to the dealer? they are usually pretty easy about free advertising.
What Jimmy is looking for is VINTAGE license plate frames/nameplates. These are extremely hard to find. These were made of pot metal and chrome plated similar to the way the older car nameplates were made. Dealers also made nameplates that bolted to the car just like a nameplate. I have one I pulled off a '62 Dodge Lancer here in the Detroit area. It's from Hodges Dodge in Ferndale, MI. Who is Hodges? Check out the side of a Ramchargers S/S Dodge.Quote:

Jimmy, any salvage yards willing to let you walk through their yards. This can be a great way to find old plate frames (and plates!).
On my car they were clipped, there are 3 little shaft's that run through the metal into the trunk and small end plates slip over the shafts to attach it. Mine's in good condition and I'm keeping it on the car for nostalgia, it says " By Westall Altamont ( Underneath Westall ) ".Quote:
