    Emergency brake handle

I am looking for an emergency brake handle for a 1946 Hudson pickup. The bracket from the dash to the firewall is still in place, but somebody unbolted the handle mechanism, and cut the cable on both sides of the firewall. I tried calling a Hudson parts place in Nebraska, but both numbers went to voicemail and nobody returned the calls.
    Any suggestions?

    Gerry

    Here's what I would do.
Get your trial subscription to Hemmings Motor News. Put a wanted ad in the parts section. I know of no better way to reach persons who have old car and truck inventory who do not advertise it.

Also, read through your first issue and call anyone who has any Hudson cars, trucks or parts for sale. Networking will land you the parts you need.

Then there is Evil Bay for the odd chance of stumbling onto this part. Also might try and look at a few different years and models of Hudsons and see if they have the same level, makes parts search a bit easier
