Spent a bit of time on the Impala, should get a camera crew in here to shoot a video about the body work that was done on it previously, the title would be "How NOT to do body work on a classic". I knew when I got the car that a lot of work had been done on the car and that it had too much filler on it, none of the body lines were sharp, shape on the bottom of the fenders was wrong, and other clues. Well, someone put a patch panel on the left quarter, just lapped it over the original panel and tacked it in place, filler was about 3/8" thick from the body line all the way down. Same on both front fenders, nothing but a few small dents here and there, someone didn't even bother trying to ding them out, just filled it to a level of about 3/16" thick. Lots more surprises coming on it, I'm sure! Promise to get someone to stop by and get some pics of it tomorrow, still haven't sprang the bucks for a new camera for me!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
