455 old stick shift bell housing

I'm looking for a stick shift bell housing and flywheel that will fit a 455 olds engine. Not sure about the flywheel, but I think the bell housing will fit several engines including Pontiac and Buicks. Maybe someone know a lot more about this than I that can help.
    Thank,

    Wade

Summit has them, but they're all fabricated steel and not cheap - http://www.summitracing.com/search/d...mission/manual

You are correct that it will be the same for several years. All 350, 403, 455 will work from 68-77. The bellhousing will work from all BOP of the same years. You can check the classifieds on OLDS.com
http://www.442.com/class/oldsads.html Run a wanted ad on Craigslist. They are out there and the firebirds of the 70's era had the most of the 4spd manual trans. I found a guy parting out a mid-70's firebird and bought one that I needed. Be careful that you stay 68-77 as the 64-67 olds cranks had a different bolt pattern.

. Yes, Pontiac and Buick used same bellhousing... do a search on Google.com... Olds flywheels prolly available new for $100 or so... want a newer steel one, not a 1950's cast iron one that can crack and explode...
