G'day from Mycoola a new member from Australia.
I have a 35 Desoto sf airstream 4dr flatback project, after any parts. The parts i'm missing that i know of,drivers side front door garnish mould (left front door) like for USA. Headlight stands and headlights- i think plymouth and chrysler the same?. Tailights and stands. Hood centre strip. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to CHR, and good luck with the hunt for what I expect are some rare parts! I know the Chrysler Airstreem, but did not know DeSoto had one, too. Post up some pictures when you have a chance, and let us know your plans for it.

    Welcome aboard.

Just a note till pics are up in case there is any confusion. The Airstream is not the same as a more aerodynamic Airflow. They used the Airstream name for the more conventional style body of the time to make a connection with the more dramatic Airflow.

they say the Airstream was $220. cheaper than the Airflow. It seems there is quit a bit of differance between the two. 1935 was the first year for the Airstream.

Thanks for people looking, the Desoto Airstream and Chrysler Airstream are similar but the Chrysler has more jewelery on the guard connectors and the grill which is different shaped in the grill insert at the top. I've bought a 35 Plymouth grill insert thats a lot better condition then my Desoto one (trash). The Plymouth insert missing some bars at the bottom but can use some from the Desoto, and the Plymouth insert needs only slight mods to fit. I think Dodge,Desoto, Plymouth and chrysler window garnish moulds would be the same!, if that makes trying to find one easier, thanks Mycoola.
