    bucket seats

I am looking for a pair of bucket seats that will fit my 71 Monte. I need ones that will sit higher than what I have so Charlie can see better over the steering wheel. Would perfer Landau and black if at all possible.

    Thank you.

Barb, does your Monty have buckets on now? if so you can just add
spacers between track and seat frames.you might need to egt longer bolts
depending on how high you want to go, we just got rid of some black buckets
    off a 70ish olds,and the driver was elec.(back&forth,up&down) olds,buick
and chev use the same frame pretty much,

thanks renu i thought of that. got these seats just to have a set in the car as it did not come with any. The steel frame has broken off at the bolt it the floor and the seat is too small in width for my car. I believe that they came from a early camaro or something fo that size.

Somewhere I have a number of a guy who buys the seats out of the GM cars from the autoshows---generally something different that stock looking seats but really nice

Another choice you should look at---seats out of Trail Blazer SS---suede and leather plus seatbelts out of the shoulder, power everthing including heated seat and back

If you could find that number Jerry I would really appreciate it. I have been looking everywhere for seats but all i can find are the hard plastice racing ones that are too uncomfortable and expensive.

Barb, I have a pair of grey bucket seats out of my '82 Camaro.... They are cloth and high backed.... Probably too narrow for the Monte or ????? If you'd like, I could sure post up a pic of them.... Freight would sure be high on them, though......
