WTB: Edelbrock X-1 6x2 crossram intake

I am looking for an Edelbrock X-1 6x2 crossram intake with or without carbs. Would prefer an entire setup - intake manifold/carbs/linkage. Please contact me if you have or know of someone who is selling one. THANKS!!

Roland - THANKS for the tip but I've already emailed the seller of the 6x2 setup that's on Ebay right now and it is not an X-1 6x2 crossram manifold. I think he said it was a C67 or something like that. Still, with the Stromberg 48's that's on it, a pretty good deal at $1100 (he HAD a "Buy It Now" of $1600 and didn't get any bids last time he ran the auction). I'm gonna wait for a crossram hopefully with the 4 bolt pattern so I can run 2GCs on mine (I can also buy 3 - 4 bolt adapters if I have to) Thanks again! I have a couple of people looking for a manifold for me and I suspect it's just a matter of time until one shows up.

It's funny how many of these old manifolds show up especially when you figure how low the production must have been. I also wonder sometimes how many were bought installed and then taken back off and put on a shelf when someone couldn't get them sorted out.

I had a lot of fun putting my Drag Star setup together especially building the linkage. Eelco makes some nice linkage packages but I'm cheap so I built my own. The really fun part was figuring out the choke linkage for the center 2 carbs (wasn't hard to build but finding a place to run it without interference was a bit of a trick).

That X-! is an interesting intake. If I came across one I think I would have to try to build an engine around it. Good luck in your search.

Here is what I'd like my engine to eventually look like:

I should mention that I don't particularly care for the spacers that the carbs are sitting on. I'd rather have mine sit directly on the intake IF I don't have to use 3 to 4 hole adapters to accomodate 2GC carbs.

THANKS, Mike!! I actually found 4 of them. One on Ebay, one in Fresno that may or may not be for sale soon (I may buy that one too), one in Arizona that is "gold plated" (meaning the seller thinks it's extremely rare and worth WAY more than it is), and the one I bought. I got a great deal on mine and I would highly recommend the guy I bought it from if another CHR member is looking for a multi-carb setup. VHP, IMO (VERY helpful person). PM me for contact info. Thanks again! Now I can concentrate on rebuilding the carbs and getting the setup on my Deuce)
