Now days the old stuff is pretty junky compared to digital tuner stuff. For that beauty of a car I'd get a radio with a detachable face plate. That way when your not with the car, no one will want to steal the radio. I had a cheap 99 dollar radio in my CJ7. Some punks messed up the whole sheetmetal dash stealing the radio. Not only did they ruin the sheet metal but they stole the wires with the radio and speakers....I'm thinking they were punk teenagers whole just needed a radio, not pros who would have never taken it in the firrst place. Moral of the story, not worth losing you dash for a radio!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Some people do not want to cut the dash out to fit a new Din sized stereo.. NPD as well as others sells AM/FM radios that will fit and look original.. if you don't mind a cheap looking radio, you can get a cheap radio from JC Whitney for around $30You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Some of the big stereo stores also have new radios that fit the old cutouts, with the new technolgy too. Best of both worlds, but can get pricey!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

MU has some nice looking stuff that fits the stock dash. I have an original am/fm but it's going in the Cougar. And it's a 68 radio. I do have a few 67-68 am's and one 70 am/fm. All stock Ford/Phillco or whatever they were. Haven't checked them out for a while but they were all working back in the 70's. I can take a look at them if interested.

I was in a couple's home trying to fix their internet connection. The husband called out to his wife in the other room for the computer password. "Start with a capital S then 1 2 3" she shouted...
