gm A body manual steering box

Im looking for a manual steering box for my 64 cutlass. It doesnt have to be real pretty, I just want it to work and be cheap. I know there are some on ebay but I hate to play games.

Well, what if you took a saginaw box, filled it with fluid, and capped off the hose feeds? Or, you could get a rebuilt one from an auto parts store. Remember, hunt around!

yeah, you could do that that w/ a power box but I'd rather get the right box, it is smaller.

If its the same one out of an 72, I might have one. I had a spare for my old one, now that I think about it. Check the box, tell me what it says. I converted mine over to power.

if its from a 72 it will probably work. my numbers wont be the same cause I currantly have power and want to switch to the manual. The input shaft diameter will be .750" dia. and not have a flat spot. Let me know if this is it and how much you want for it ( for a used box im planning on about $25 or there abouts). Can u email a pic?
