    we are looking for a header for Charlie's 4 cyl pontiac. Any ideas where we might find one?

    it is a 1975 astre 140 2.3-4 vega engine.

    thats not an iron duke thats the famous iron'alluminum like my 75 last place i ever saw header for one was ebay, and the guy also has a 4bbl intake for one. good luck

    pat that is my son Charlie. That is the engine that we are looking for a header for. The guy that we brought it from sold us a problem. the tranny is slipping and the header is full or holes. He used a gutter drain pipe for the exhaust and a bolt to repair the hole in the gas tank. We have repaired everything but are stuck because we are having problems find a header for the thing.

    Another member awhile back posted that Sanderson will custom make header pipes for you, he said they were quite helpfull!

    Sanderson are very pricy IMO, but if you have the extra cash they are very worth it!
