    Need Rubber Bushihgs,

I have a new chassis for my 1970 caddy.

Anyone know where I can get the rubber frame bushing the go between the body and the chassis?

How big are they supposed to be, Ted???? I have a part number for a firm bushing that I use for body mounts..... It was originally designed as the rubber bushing that was used on the tri-five chebbie pin type front engine mounts. They have a 1/2" hole, and are about 2 1/2" diameter and are available at Car Quest, Napa, and I would imagine a bunch of other stores. Bushings that are application specific for your Caddy may be a bit hard to come by.......

I think hockey pucks are a bit stiff for that application aren't they? I bought a 67 Impala once and found hockey pucks in the trunk body mount position and they had dented the floor upward like they were too hard...

could be but they make body bushing out of soild ALUM and urethane should not bent any thing up sound like to me you had more then hard bushing denting the floor up. if you use all the same durometer bushing you should be just fine you do not want the bushing smashing out if to soft

Once I get the body off the old frame, I will better match up them. I was hoping to find a bushing kit for frame offs. Thank guys, will keep posted on what way it turns out.
