    49 merc

I was in the process of buying a 49 merc in need of some serious love when the owners land and shop caught fire burning every car I slobbered over for the last several months trying to pick what I wanted to start working of after my 65 ford

So I am now looking for a 49 merc or close to that body style in buildable condition if anyone has pics or know of where one is sitting and rotting waiting for a good texas home please let me know

Question Well give us an idea? ..........

" hate to hear that ! " But, do you have a price range? any idea ? brand ? " nothing really compares to a 49-51 Merc, " so what direction you want to go? I've been watching a few in these "out of the way places" even, got a few prices, so give a little more info, & maybe some one can help. "your close enough to me that the ones i've been watching, may help you out"

Does it have to be steel, or would you take a glass one??? What price range are you looking at??? I have some pics of a glass one in the gallery, and more pics on my web page. Let me know.
