wow thank you VERY MUCH! these pics will help out a ton, i am going to print them off and put them in a folder so i dont loose them. i see what you mean about the extra clearance with the tubular set up, ther really is a lot more room. i will have to see what kind of funds i will have to work with. i am trying to locate as many of the parts used as i can. you or anyone you know wouldnt happen to have any used 460 swap parts you would want to sell would you?

    THANK YOU!

I sold off all of mine when I sold the car back to my Son, because he is going the small block route. But if you keep watching Ebay with key words like 460 fox, etc, this stuff shows up pretty often.

We guys who build Fords usually pay more for stuff than our Chevy brothers, and big blocks are even more expensive than that. But I think dollar for dollar it is hard to beat the performance you can get by dropping one of these in some lighter body.

I have a Total Performance T Bucket body and frame that I am saving for the 460 engine I have left over from this project. I was shooting for the 10 second bracket with the Capri, so the engine should run pretty good in the lighter bucket. But that project is behind 2 or 3 others I have to finish first, so it will be a while.

If you have patience, and look for some deals, you can save some money on the parts you are looking for. You might want to take pictures as you go, and post them, for others thinking of doing the same swap.

I'm glad the pictures I posted for you helped/ Good luck.

PS, just looked on Ebay, there are a set of swap engine mounts on there right now. Long time to go on the auction, but they are only at $ 20 so far. The item number is Item number: 8069819158
