82-91 camaro rear end
I am looking for a replacement rear end for my 82 camaro. It has the little 7.5 inch 26 spline chunk and I do not think that it will hold my 406 with 456 gears. I have seen that Currie makes a direct fit 9" rear end with 31 spline axles for around $1500. This is a little out of my price range as I would still need a spool and gears (close to $2000). Anyway, any help is appreciated.

Scott

If your rich spend the 2,000. if not and 8.5 posi which is just as strong as a 12 bolt at half the price .8.5 ring gear is only 0.375 inchs smaller than a 12 b olt, the pinion gear shaft is an equal diamenter. cost about 400.00" Running 8.68/151 with spool"
