That was my first thought. I don't have any welding equipment, so bending would have to be done by brute force. Chroming here is very expensive for one item, cheaper in bulk. I had a friend offer to make it for $20, then I could have it chromed. I can't see paying $40 for a home-made item when I can pay $10 for an over-the-counter item. The name of the company that makes the shift kit is Daytona Performance or Custom-Fit, but I can't find anything on the net about them.
