1934-37 Chevy truck hood and Sprint car steering box

I would like to find a hood for a 1934-1937 Chevy truck. Any condition considered.

I would also like to find an old Sprint car steering box, the type that mounts in the cab. Not the power assisted type.

Let me know if ya'll got anything. Thanks.

Go to that junkyard in Mt sterling as there is a 37 1 1/2 ton behind the building that might have a salvagable hood on it,its yellow or orange and is sitting on top of another car or junk pile.

    thanks

Jeff- Been there, done that. They have about 3 old torn up cabs that are beyond repair, but no hoods, grill shells, frames or anything else in salvagable condition. Even the windshield frames and seat springs are gone. Most of the old stuff they have there anymore is way too far gone from sitting too many years in that swamp they call a yard.

I might try starks if I get down to dayton anytime soon. I hear there's a good yard in Mt. Vernon also. Can anybody verify that?

    thanks anyway.

I thought the orange or yellow 37 had a some of a hood still on it but its been a few years since I have been there,I do not know anything about a yard in Mt Vernon but that sounds like a good saturday cruise to see if it could be found. Starks does not have any 34 to 37 chevy trucks in it but theres a 35ish international in there.
