I did some snooping about the Plymouth we found the original owners family
and got the story.
Turns out to be a 1958 Plymouth Belevedere 2 door hardtop it came with a 313 cu in V-8 poly with push button automatic transmission. Built in Windsor Ontario Canada.
It was bought brand new by a young logger named Terry Pederson who drove it for a couple of years then was killed in a car crash with another young man after a drinking party. The car sat in the driveway of his folks place for many years.
The car was given to a family member who drove it into the early 70's. The Plymouth then traded hands many times until it made it to the junk yard in 1985.
This month we loaded it onto a trailer and brought it home. My grandson and I lubed the doors and windows. It looks like it would make a nice hot rod.
needs a lot of work but it sure looks good to us.
