THANKS BOB! I just had a hard time trying to get scoops to fit my Rochesters so I just remade them from the originals which are VERY HARD to find.

The true tripower carbs used on the GTO's and 442 Olds in the 1966 period have a bigger diameter neck on them than the standard 2gc carbs. We tried the scoops I have on my 23 on my Sons 442 setup, and they are too small to fit over them. If you ever pop these, let us know.

BTW, I wish someone would repop the Cal Custom 4 barrel scoops that some call frog mouth. They were very cool and when you find them they are either pitted or if good they fetch big money. I'd love a set for the 2 x 4 setup on my 27.

    Hey Don,

I just thought the Pontiac carbs had a little taller neck than the Chevy carbs I didn't know they were bigger in diameter too. I know a guy that ran a set of the Pontiac carbs (the one with the vent caps on top of the fuel bowls) because he couldn't find a set of scoops to fit the chevy carbs. The scoops he used were just the after market ones you see everywhere. Both sets (mine and after market ones) have a 2 5/8 neck.
