Don't know the answer to that, have seen them both ways. Could be a function of which plant built the body, or as you're guessing the one piece was an upgrade option.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
