I don't know what they are for but definitely not for a 390 or any other FE motor. The tubes and flanges are spaced all wrong for a FE and the bolt pattern is wrong too.Duane S

I was cruising the net and found this site:http://www.panteraplace.com/page35.htm.
Scrolling down the page until I got to the heads section, it appears that Renu36 could be right about those headers being for a Ford. 351C/351M/400 exhaust bolt pattern and ports look a lot like that. The ones shown on the link have been ported big time so the tubes on your headers would be a little small for them, but about correct for stockers.
What do you think, Denny?

P.S., the main reason I went looking is it's been a long time since I played with a Cleveland head, but that bolt pattern looked very familiar.

Actually it's possible that these could be headers for an FE in a Mustang, Fairlane or Torino. The factory FE heads used on these cars had a bolt pattern like this. This was because of the close confines of the engine compartments in these cars, due to the shock towers in Ford's uni-body cars of the era. Many FE headers I've seen, regardless of application, have both bolt patterns so they'll work with either port design.
