four pinion Ford track lock 9.3"
Sale or trade. It is a 9 3/8" four pinion track lock and the clutches are still in spec as best I could determine with a pair of axles, a vise and a torque wrench. It is 31 spline and will fit a 9" housing with the two reliefs in the flange. The gear set is 2.80 and the tag reads 2L80 like it is supposed to. Might be a cruiser solution for a monster torque engine.
way heavy so local pickup might be best. Tacoma WA area.

What are you asking for it?
What kind of things do you want to trade for?
What do you mean by "2 reliefs"
Thanks

I'll take 85 bucks for it. Remember that the 9.3 is nearly impossible to find gears for. So if the 2.80 gearset suits your purpose, then you are in good shape.
The two reliefs have to be cut in the 9" housing flange to clear the larger ring gear of the 9.3" diff.sixty clicks West of Chu Lai

Can this (cutting 2 reliefs) be done to an exisiting housing or do I have to have the correct housing?
what would it cost for you to ship it to Southern California 91364?
Thanks

Yes, you cut an existing housing. It would be a matter of taking a regular 9" gasket and trimming it to fit the inside of the 9.3 dropout. Then transfer the gasket to the housing and mark it for trimming.
I'll get a weight on that monster. Ouch! It weighs 90lbs on a bathroom scale so I rounded to a hundred pounds and UPS would be 73.30 for shipping including their fuel surcharge. I will try to keep the weight under a hundred so that would possibly lower the shipping a tad bit. Greyhound wants 80 bucks to ship it to San Fernando.sixty clicks West of Chu Lai
