    S-10 rear end

iceman''' i also have a 47 chevy aero sedan'' i bought the S-10 to put under my 47 which i also have a S-10 in it now''' the standard S-10 rear with disc. brake's is 58 in. which is ok with a 3 or 31/4 backspace but my wheels have 33/4 backspace and i was rubbing the frame'''so i bought the disc brake rearend to put in and it is 60in. wide perfect for 40 to 54 chevy's i had put everthing new in my rearend so i decided not to change it plus i have my chevy sold and do not need the rearend as i have a one car garage and i need the space i also have a new set of spring plate's for $20.00 that will have to be welded on'''' i live in overland mo. outside of st.louis mo.

    S-10 rear

iceman'' what i meant to say was the standard S-10 rearend is 58 in. and the S-10 with disc. brakes is 60in. wide wich works better with a wheel with 33/4 backspace in a stock 47 & 48 frame

Thanks for clarifying for me. I live in MD so shipping would probalbly be outrageous. I'll check into it. Its a good deal and I could use a new rear.
