    348 crank & rods

     



    one steel 348 chevy crank fresh turned 0.20 mains 0.10 rods the crank was steel shot and then turned. the rods are in good shape .can be recond with new bolts if you want for extra this crank was turned by my crank shaft man he has been resurfacing cranks for 25 + years he is a true master with a crank shaft machine $260 for rods and crank you pay shipping

    If I'm not mistaken, this crank will drop right in a 396/427/454 block and would make a small displacement BB with its 3.250" stroke. For instance, a 396 block bored 0.030" with this crank will make a BB 348.

    no it will not. mains are smaller crank nose is smaller where the damper is press on but a 454 crank can be put in a 348 to 409 if you cut the mains down and the snout

    Sorry Pat. The reason I was thinkin' it would is that I remember some fellows years ago using the 348 crank in a 396 block with good heads to make a class in Comp Eliminator. I don't remember how they did it, maybe with spacer bearings then????
