I used metalflake on a 55 Chevy. I had no trouble getting it off. after 4 years it started to look like crap from being exposed to the weather. I scraped it off with about a dozen single edge razor blades. They have more durable clear coat now than they did when I painted the Chevy but I still won't do it again unless someone wants to pay the price and get no warranty on it. I got blisters on my hand from constantly shaking the spray gun to keep the flake suspended. I would use metallic paint. Maybe get them to mix in some extra metallic but keep track of how much extra in case you need to match it later." Im gone'
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
