I used metalflake on a 55 Chevy. I had no trouble getting it off. after 4 years it started to look like crap from being exposed to the weather. I scraped it off with about a dozen single edge razor blades. They have more durable clear coat now than they did when I painted the Chevy but I still won't do it again unless someone wants to pay the price and get no warranty on it. I got blisters on my hand from constantly shaking the spray gun to keep the flake suspended. I would use metallic paint. Maybe get them to mix in some extra metallic but keep track of how much extra in case you need to match it later.
