ok, i got an 88 cheyenne pickup, it's got the 2 halogen headlight style grille, all plastic, i was wondering if you paint guys could reccomend what to sand it down with, so that i can spray it..*most likely flat black*

what grit should i use?
should i go down to bare plastic?
do i need any special paint?
