Head to your paint store and look thru their color charts. it's MUCH easier to choose a paint that is formulated with flake and/or pearl then it is to try to make one up, HOPING it will look good after spraying.
As far as pearl goes it can be added to the clear coat. That is how I did the flames on my truck, added blue pearl to a mid-coat clear then buried that with the top coat clear.
