For the pro paint guys, I'm going to have some black paint on the Impala, top of the car, some SS type stripes on the hood, etc. Thinking I might want to add some pearl and metallic to the black. My question is, which color of pearl and what size of metallic should I use? Also wondering if the pros mix pearl in the basecoat and color tint the clear with pearl or what the best plan would be? I don't really want any radical color changes like Prismatique does, just a bit of a flip flop in the black that in differing light might appear as a bit of dark blue or something like that? The gold that will be on the exterior has a ton of small gold flake in it if that makes a difference.... Any ideas? The car will be just a cruiser, but I want something on it a bit better then just plain old paint...PS, I use PPG products if that makes a difference.
