I use Krylon Fusion paints made for adhesion to plastic. Lots of guys use it for plastic flares on Jeeps - works good, sticks tight.Roger

no not much on a hard plastic grill wash good with soap and water use a red scotch pad wash/sand paint with any paint you want seal if needed. if you wanted to fill marks use a sanding primer and sand out with fine 400 wet or better . you need to watch going to coarse with sand paper or it can make the plastic fuzzy then it can be hard to get it to lay down . urethane and any rubber or plastic with a hi amount of flex have to be handle much differentIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
