    Wide body look

Just a bit of day dreamin' here.... Remember the wide body Vette kits of the late 70's, early 80's???? Ecklers and American Custom had some out that when installed correctly were good looking... Anyway, how would the same type of look do on a Camaro, 82-89 vintage???? Seems a bit of sheetmetal work might help the looks a bit--and make room for some tire without having to resort to back-halfing the car....

    Whatcha think?????

Thought about that Richard, could only pick up 1 1/4" on the inside....which would make just enough clearance for a 10" tread width... Just kickin' some ideas around, quite sure I can hook it up with 8" of tire on the ground....but seeing as how there's already so much work done with the sheetmetal on the car.......... Guess I just seem to have too much time on my hands or something lately....

I should just back half the thing and be done with it, I guess.... I dunno....sure am open to suggestions....

Back half it Dave,,From what I have seen, you have turned it from a mundane everyday Camaro into a mean ol machine,do it,,cut it up...

I don't know a wide body style would be cool, and one of Bob's beauties could then fit in there!

I'll probably just sit on my roll-around chair and stare at it awhile longer... Maybe the real challenge is hooking it up on the skinny tires??????

    Dave ,
Build a Camaro version of the European DTM cars .

Do a google search for DTM cars .
I also remember there was the Mulhalland build craze in the 80's on camaros and mustangs .
