Don,
What color paint is that on the transmission and frame? It looks like the color I am looking for to paint my car.
Barb,
Yep you are brave....I haven't talked the hubby into the painting yet, but he did let me use the cutoff saw and the air recip saw to cut a panel out!!
It would have to be distilled water to be perfectly safe to test spray with.. the problem arrises when minerals build up in the passages.. it is best to use mineral spirits paint thinner, the most that will do is clean the gun out:)Quote:

No, it's Fusion Orange, a (I think) 2005 Hummer color. I know it is Hummer, just not sure of the year, but the paint shop can tell you for sure. It comes in either basecoat/clearcoat, or catalyzed enamel. When I first sprayed it I wasn't sure, but I've gotten so many positive comments on it. Some people say it is copper, or gold, but they call it orange for some reason.
Don
At least it's not pink..............
Isn't it past your bedtime?????????
Don
i like the purple on your truck angie. very nice shade.
Thanks Barb............see Bob, there are people with good taste out there!! :D :D
Don
you are welcome
Thanks for the compliments, yes it is more of a purple than pink. The colors are seafoam green and sweet azalea. The idea was we were going to build my 37 sedan and flip flop the colors. But, its taken so long, I've changed my mind and really like the "coppery" color, but I want 2 tones, and am trying to find exactly the right colors. Im still a long way from paint, but want to be ready when I get there.
Barb how is the paint coming?
