Removal of Overspray from chrome wheels
I have a small amount of overspray on my chrome wheels. What is the best way to remove it without damaging the finish? Will paint thinner/ cleaner work?Go Hokies!!!!!! ACC CHAMPS '04,'07,'08

You can use lacquer thinner, or the same reducer in the paint if available, and a little elbow grease. Follow with polish and wax, then it will make you need to do the others 'cause it will look so good.

lacquer thinner. It won't hurt the chrome a bit.
If they are polished aluminum, I can't say if it would harm clear anodizing or not.

Overspray
Fast Orange hand cleaner with pumice,works great for road oil & tar too,and gentler than thinner.

if it is only overspray then a clay bar will take it off. Cheap and easy with no damage
