The hair dryer / heat gun is the best & safest way. Those rubber wheels are a mess. I bought one to use on road construction signs. It took longer to clean up the mess the wheel made than it did to just peel the vinyl off with a heat gun & wipe the glue off with "Rapid Remover" adhesive remover. Wheel is gathering dust on the shelf.
