Thread: Frame paint

Ok folks, time to pick a frame paint from the 10 bazillion choices available out there. Also some say to use primer before and some say it's not needed. I've used POR-15 before; what's everyone using and how's it holding up? Help me spend some money (not too much).

I just use DP 90. Works for me

I usually do the basecoat/clearcoat paint on the frame. A bit more work and a bit more expensive, depends on how detailed you want to get. A plain old single stage over a self etching high quality primer on a sandblasted frame would work fine, too.
