You might try turning some masking tape over, and use the sticky side to pick up the goo. 3Ms green tape is extra sticky!

Be real careful with some of the advertised sticky crap remover stuff. I found out on my camper that it even removes paint.
WD-40, mineral spirits and wax and grease remover have worked probably about the best for me tho WD-40 will leave a residue. Some of the 'creme' hand cleaners without the grit work too. What ever you use, be real careful around fresh paint.
