yes but it would be very hard. try it out on a old fender the dolly is a backer you can hammer on or work off it. if you hammer 0n the dolly as a back up to form you have to watch over working the metal if this happen then you will have what they call a oil can and then will have more work. the dolly can be used for moveing metal by hitting it up with it and then you can use it as a form to work on and off with a hammer or a slapper file i like to use the slapper file to work it out to no filler

ok so i got a door with a dent (looks like a baseball hit it).
first do i hammer from the inside the door to actually get the dent to the right level then use the dolly behind it and hammer on the front to help shape it back to its original shape?
im sorry if this sounds mad stupid but im not a big bodywork guy

i would hold the dolly in the mid part of the dent if smaller then the dolly the dolly as to have all most the same shape as the door now hold it up to the dent put pressure on the dolly and work the out side to the mid part of the dent do not beat the hell out of it you will not need to hit it to hard and look at it and see how it unlocks if done right it will come out if you work it out the right way when working with steel do not hit any harder then you have to or more then you have to .this is the best advise i can give you

so if the dent is smaller than the dolly, put in the inside of the door and hit the the mid area of the dent from the outside?
and another question is what happens if the dent is larger than the dolly?
thanks for the help man this is helping me out alot!

no try to work it out the way it was hit the deepest part will be the last part to bump. the dent is bigger than the dolly then you need a plan of attack i start getting the steel up and then form the steel there is many ways to do this .i use the old paint to block it out when hamming and use a slap files the lows were the paint is will get leve out and the paint will come off and tells you were the lows are
