not to hijack the thread or anything but I have a q' about primer. I bought 1 gallon of Martin Senour Crossfire Acrylic base primer, I have been DA'ing my car down to bare metal in spots, should I go all the way bare? will I have problems adhering to the bare metal? thanksYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

I don't know but was told if you take it to bare metal you have to use the etching primer. Never used etching primer before until my last project. but projects before were not as critical.
