it will air dry with out any hardener but if you are going to sand it flat and wheel it then you may want to add some but you can add to much . not much is better than to much hardener. i have drip it off a awl in to a bottle cap or a new paint top lid. count and drips for the right amount of hardener and mix it up with a paint stick and used the awl to work it in the chip
