I just noticed something else, you said because of the delays in sanding the primer, the clear will have to wait a couple days. I dont know that you can do that....many base coats must be cleared within a few hours at most if the job is to work. Read the instructions on the base coat product for this info. What brand is it? If it doesnt say, maybe it doesnt matter......but I have a feeling it does. Just a thought.
