I took mine to a chroming shop and had the chrome removed ,it wasnt very expensivejust finished a frame off resto mod 67 Chevellewith 383 stroked LT1 and a 75 mb 450 SL (not a hot rod but a sweet old convertable}Now am restoring a 69 Nova SS
