Would appreciate any advice on how to treat braze welds. I braze weld my patch panels/skins and always use wire wheel attachment to clean the weld and use metal prep to clean. Anyone know of any special cleaner or etching solution that is specially formulated to treat welded steel?
Silicon Bronze still has a low melting point , and has a better weld strength then brass , and will still give you less metal warp .
GM has used Silicon Bronze for many , many years , the roof to C pillar and roof to A- pillar welds were all Silicon Bonze , and people always thought it was brass.
