Nobody said this was going to be easy but when everyone says to sand to bare metal, which I plan to do, does that mean literally all former primers gone and only bright steel remaining or can there be spots of old primer showing as long as the base coat is gone? I don't want to cut corners but I don't want to be stupid either.
