    Question Clear Metal?

i have noticed while flipping through different websites that there are a lot of cars and trucks out there that are grey all different shades, some of them try to get the metal grey to get it to look like there is no paint and it's just the metal showing.

so i was wondering if you can just clear coat metal without paint or anything that way you can say that this is just metal and not painted to look like it.

alsa corp has a clear coat that you can use on bare aluminum, so I imagine you can use it over bare steel. They also have a chrome paint that although not perfect copy of chrome, looks really close. Their web address is www.alsacorp.com
They have some really cool stuff.

I've clear coated copper plated stuff, but let me also say that I told the owner I would not guarantee it!

I would guarantee that it would eventually peel off of your car, though!
